An Easy Way To Get Some Quick Wins & Traction

There’s no way around it…

When it comes to getting more clients, your greatest success will come with:

  1. Time
  2. Consistent applied effort toward the activities that are proven to generate sales conversations

But we all deserve a quick win every once in a while, don’t you think?

If you could really use a boost right now…

Here’s an easy way to get some quick wins & traction:

  1. Make a list of 50 – 100 people in your life, past career, or current business that COULD need/want the transformation your work delivers.

Don’t groan – I promise that this is A LOT easier than it sounds and shouldn’t take more than a couple hours.

These people could be current or past clients, colleagues, friends, connections on social media, people in groups you’re in, people you met at past events, and the list goes on…

ANYONE you know who is dealing with a problem that your work helps to solve – even if they’ve only mentioned it briefly in passing…

So look through your Facebook friends, LinkedIn connections, contact list, that old pile of business cards you’ve collected, your email list/CRM…

    And make that list!

  2. Schedule a brief 10 minute chat with these people

The goal for this quick chat should be to build rapport.

During the chat try to identify if they want or think they need help with the challenge or goal that you help people with.

If the answer is “yes” then go ahead and…

  3. Schedule a longer strategy session/enrollment conversation with them

Offer them an opportunity to get their problem solved — with your support of course!

Remember, this person has expressed that they need help…

And if you don’t offer a chance to explore the solution you offer…

You’ll be leaving them where they’re at.

You wouldn’t want someone to do that to you, now would you?

    Of course not!

So go ahead and schedule a strategy session/sales conversation with them.

**Note: This is NOT a free coaching session. The purpose of this second, longer call is to explore to see if you’d be a good fit to help them professionally.

Jim & I go into more detail about what this process should look like in this video:

And before I wrap this up…

I just want to make sure you understand that there’s SO much opportunity in this approach.

DO NOT discount the people around you and really challenge yourself to be open-minded about who could be a potential client for you.

It’s not always obvious…

There are people in your world that need your help & want a way to work with you even if you — or they — don’t know it yet.
